Vaneeza Asif - VP Editorial

Hi everyone! I'm Vaneeza, and this is my third year with Lazy Faire. I initially joined as a designer and moved into writing, and I thoroughly enjoyed both roles. I'm excited to continue being a part of Lazy Faire as VP Editorial and I hope I can learn more about all the topics Lazy Faire will explore this year. In my free time, I enjoy writing my own short stories and reading.

Liezl Ubaldo - Writer/Operations & Finance Director

Hi! My name is Liezl and I am an accounting major in my fourth year at the University of Alberta. As a Writer for Lazy Faire, I am excited to meet other students and learn more about the topics that we'll be exploring this year. Zane Antia - Writer/Operations & Finance Director

Hi! My name is Zane and I am a 2nd-year finance student. As the writer/operations and finance director, I am looking forward to making new connections by meeting fun and interesting people. I joined Lazy Faire to explore my passion for writing. I am keen to hear stories of students who are impressing their mark on society. In my free time, I enjoy watching television and going on walks.

Ayomide Wole-Adekogba - Writer

Hi! I'm Ayomide, one of Lazy Faire's writers for the 2022/2023 school year. I'm a Business Law and Economics major in my fourth year. Joining Lazy Faire provides me with the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with business students and students from all programs. Outside of school, I enjoy thrifting, playing the piano, watching shows on Netflix, and trying out new restaurants.

Hi my name is Annie and I am in my second year of Marketing. I am a writer for Lazy Faire Magazine and I am excited to work with the team this year. I joined Lazy Faire because Michelle forced me to. Just kidding! I have a passion for writing so I would like to try out a position to be a writer. I also want to meet and collab with new people. In my free time, I like doing bullet journaling, hanging out with friends, and watching Netflix.

Ashlyn She - Writer

Hi everyone, my name is Ashlyn, and I'm a 3rd year Business student majoring in Accounting! I joined Lazy Faire as a writer, and I'm excited to discuss various issues that affect the lives of Business students, both in school and in employment. I'm also interested in exploring the stories of individuals who have made a significant impact in the UofA community. In my free time, I love playing video games, listening to music, and reorganizing my room. A fun fact about me is that I had a pet rabbit named Brownie when I was younger!

Khadija Ehsan - Writer

Hi! I’m Khadija, and I am a second-year Marketing student. I am very excited to be a writer for Lazy Faire and have the opportunity to meet new people and expand my writing skills. In my free time, you’ll catch me binging a show or doodling somewhere on a scrap piece of paper. I’ve always loved to draw, paint, and read, so being part of the Lazy Faire team will definitely allow me to share my creative side!

Hi! My name's Irmin, and I'm a second-year student pursuing my degree in Accounting. In my free time, you'll find me volunteering at the animal shelter or exploring new restaurants with my friends! I'm excited to join the Lazy Faire team this year as a writer and director for SuitsLF. I admire how the magazine acts as a medium for students to tell their stories, and I can't wait to see what's in store for the upcoming year!
